This Privacy Policy explains how AviPeak collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the AviPeak mobile application, learning services, account features, subscriptions, notifications, interview practice, and related support channels.
Information we collect
We collect account identifiers and sign-in information when you create or use an account, including authentication provider identifiers, email address when supplied by the provider, and security metadata needed to keep the account operating. We collect learning activity such as selected career track, lesson progress, scenario choices, scores, readiness signals, glossary activity, preferences, locale, notification settings, subscription entitlement state, purchase-related identifiers, support messages you send, and technical diagnostics. If you use interview practice, the app may create audio recordings on your device and may upload a recording only when you choose a feature that requires evaluation, transcription, synchronization, or account transfer. We do not intentionally collect sensitive aviation employment records, government identity documents, medical records, or payment card numbers. Payments are handled by Apple and related purchase service providers.
How we use information
We use information to provide the app, authenticate users, preserve progress, personalize learning, grade activities, operate premium access, deliver notifications you enable, synchronize data across devices, prevent abuse, debug crashes, protect the service, comply with legal obligations, and respond to support requests. We may use aggregated or de-identified information to improve content quality, product reliability, and safety of the learning experience.
Service providers and sharing
We use service providers such as Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, database, storage, cloud functions, analytics, crash reporting, app integrity, messaging, and remote configuration; RevenueCat and Apple for purchase and subscription processing; and speech, transcription, or evaluation infrastructure when an interview evaluation feature is requested. These providers process information on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own terms where applicable. We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and security, to investigate abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Local storage, recordings, and permissions
Some data stays on your device, including settings, cached content, local progress, and local interview recordings. Microphone access is used only for recording interview practice when you start that feature. Notification permission is used only to send reminders or learning updates you enable. You can deny permissions, delete local recordings, turn off notifications, sign out, or delete your account, although some features may then be limited.
Retention and deletion
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including account operation, subscription verification, security, legal compliance, and backup recovery. Account deletion in the app starts deletion of account-linked learning data, uploaded interview recordings, notification registrations, and app-owned local data where technically available. Some records may remain for a limited period in backups, logs, fraud-prevention records, legal records, app-store purchase systems, or provider systems that we do not control directly.
International transfers and security
The service may process and store information in countries other than your own. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including provider security controls, authentication, access limits, and app integrity checks. No internet or mobile service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, so you are responsible for keeping your device and account credentials safe.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You can use in-app account deletion where available and device or app-store settings for permissions and subscriptions. For privacy requests, contact the developer through the official App Store or Play Store support channel for AviPeak. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
Children and age limits
AviPeak is intended for users who are old enough to use mobile learning and subscription services under the laws and app-store rules that apply to them. The app is not directed to children under 13 or to children under the minimum digital-consent age in their country. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us through the official support channel.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the product, providers, law, or security requirements change. The effective date will identify the current version. If a change materially affects your rights or the way we process personal information, we will provide notice through the app, store listing, or another appropriate channel where required.
Language fallback
Translations are provided for convenience. If a localized version is unavailable for a user language, the English version is the default. If a translation conflicts with the English version, the English version controls to the maximum extent permitted by law.
